These terms and conditions outline the rules for the use of Infusion Oy’s website, located at https://pilotworld.fi. It also covers our policies for doing business with you. By accessing this website you accept to be bound by these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Pilot World if you do not agree to the terms and conditions stated on this page.

Your Rights as a Consumer

Your rights as a consumer are protected under Finnish law. You can read about your rights as a consumer here: https://www.kkv.fi/en/facts-and-advice. In the case of any dispute you are obliged to first seek resolution in writing with Pilot world before invoking mediation. All decisions of the KKV ombudsman are binding on both parties.

In the case of business to business sales, disputes are to be taken to the Finnish Chamber of Commerce for mediation and the final decision of the Finnish Chamber of Commerce will binding for both parties.

Your Privacy

We respect your privacy and go to great measures to protect it. For more information on how we protect your personal information see our Privacy policy. We expect you to also play an active role in protecting your privacy. You have the responsibility to protect your login credential. Choose secure passwords and do not share login information with others. Log out of sessions when you are not actively using them and do not allow unauthorized people to access your computer.

Unless otherwise stated, Infusion Oy and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Pilot World. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Pilot World for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. Infusion Oy does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Infusion Oy, its agents and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who post their views and opinions. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Infusion Oy shall not be liable for the Comments or for any liability, damages or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.

Infusion Oy reserves the right to monitor all Comments and to remove any Comments which can be considered inappropriate, offensive or causes breach of these Terms and Conditions.

You warrant and represent that:

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our Site or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

We reserve the right to refuse service, to close your account or ban you from our site if you do not adhere to these terms. If your activities have caused harm or financial cost we may seek financial retribution or criminal charges.

Pricing of our Products

The prices on our website include VAT, but do not include transport unless otherwise stated. If there are clear price errors in the price list, the product will not be sold at a significantly lower price if it can be assumed that our customers could reasonably determine the existence of the error.

We will check the prices at the time of processing. When the price drops, we will fix the prices for your open order. On the other hand, if the price of the product rises before the order is delivered, we will deliver the product at the original price.

When items are not in stock we will attempt to back-order them from our suppliers. Delivery time estimates are based on the information they provide us. We are not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen events with their ability to supply us. We reserve the right to restrict the sale of products in exceptionally large quantities.

Product Warranty and Liability

All our products carry a warranty from the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover damages caused by normal wear and tear or misuse of the product. Please contact us before returning goods. We ask that you provide details of the problem and where applicable photos that help us understand the defect. You may also contact the manufacturer directly. In many cases the  manufacturer is better able to provide expert guidance and a faster remedy.

Liability related to the products we sell is the responsibility of the manufacturer or importer. We will not be held responsible for damage or loss caused to you or other parties or property. It is your responsibility to seek out the necessary training and guidance to use the products in the capacity that they were designed for. You must also operate the products in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer. When in doubt, you must seek out relevant and appropriately licensed experts to guide your use of the products.

Order Processing

You can find information on our accepted Payment methods here. We aim to process all orders within 48 hours. Orders will only be shipped after payment confirmation. If there will be a delay in your order processing, we will contact you and provide you with more information. Please allow up to 7 business days for delivery in Finland.

We reserve the right to refuse to accept an order. We reserve the right to require such proof of identity as we deem necessary prior to filling an order. A contract will exist only at the moment we dispatch the goods. We may refuse to accept an order if we do not receive credit card authorization or items are no longer available or where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud.

We are not responsible for any damage caused by force majeure. Force majeure is considered to be an unforeseeable circumstance or a change of circumstances beyond the control of Infusion Oy. We are obliged to notify you the customer of any force majeure without delay.

In the event that an item is missing from your order or damaged in transit you must notify us by e-mail or in writing within 5 days of receipt of the parcel. In the event of damage you should retain the packaging. If the parcel is obviously damaged or has been tampered with (other than by Customs officials), then you should not accept delivery.

Delivery Options

We currently only deliver to customers located in Finland through our web store. If you are outside of Finland and want to order something, please contact us first. We have several delivery options including local pick-up in Espoo. We use Posti as our carrier. Please see hour Delivery Options page for more details.

Returns

If you wish to return products, you have 14 days from the date that you receive the goods. Products must be unused and in the same condition that they were shipped to you. If items are not in the same condition, we reserve the right to deduct a percentage of the value of the goods based on what is permitted under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

When you decide to return products, you must notify us in writing via email (support@pilotworld.fi ). We do not refund the shipping costs associated with the delivery of your package. You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

Restrictions on the right to return are governed by Chapter 6 of the Consumer Protection Act; Games, movies, software or other sealed products do not have a right of return when the product packaging has been opened. Hygiene and intimate products do not have a right of return after the package has been opened because the product cannot be returned for sale due to its nature.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website without notifying you. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

If you make a purchase, you are subject to the terms and conditions at the time of that particular purchase. Any future use of or access to the website and/or any subsequent purchases will be subject to the updated policies and continuing to use our site constitutes acceptance of those changes.

We do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we promise to ensure that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date.

Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Finnish law. The courts of Finland will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our website or the sale of a product or service from our business. The District Court of Espoo shall be the court of first instance.

If any part, term or provision of these terms and conditions are partly or wholly held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity or enforce-ability of other provisions in the remainder of these terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
