Aviation Maps

Official Aviation maps for Finland can be purchased directly from the distributor karttakauppa.net.

We are not selling individual maps this year but still do bulk orders for Flight schools and Clubs. We also include maps in our Student pilot starter kits.

Finnish Aviation maps are scale 1:500 000 and come in 2 types:

• Standard paper maps
• Laminated maps (kestokartta)

For practical use, the paper maps are easier to handle and and are what most of us pilots use. The laminated maps last longer and are worth the extra investment if the maps are in daily use.

The Helsinki area can be purchased as either 2 maps (East, West) or 1 large map (Southern Finland). For practical use in the cockpit the separate maps are a bit easier to handle unless you are a folding genius. The big Southern Finland map though looks amazing on the wall.
