The Telemetry Unit Clinical Nurse Coordinator will report to a Telemetry Nurse Manager and collaborate closely with a Director of Acute Care Services, Clinical Nurse Educators, and a friendly, diverse, and highly skilled team of RNs, monitor technicians, hospitalists, cardiologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and social workers. The Telemetry Unit Clinical Nurse Coordinator will guide daily operations on a progressive care/step-down unit, optimize staffing and throughput, mentor new and experienced nurses, drive competency validation and EKG/arrhythmia proficiency, lead performance improvement in falls prevention and readmission reduction, advance patient experience initiatives, and sustain readiness for rapid response events—all with strong administrative backing and robust data analytics support.
