Job Summary
National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Store Room Attendant. The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. The address of the facility is 9609 W Market St in Colfax, NC 27235.
Job Responsibilities
Maintains professional and courteous customer relationships with client, vendor, and internal team
Ensures spare parts inventory is received, maintained and distributed according to specified procedures
Keeps inventory and all related records organized and orderly for ease of retrieval
Prepares and audits spare parts requisitions for purchase
Keep daily reporting current with status of spare parts
Controls access to the spare parts crib
Issues spare parts to technicians upon request
Assigns work order numbers to spare parts requisitions
Job Requirements
High school diploma / equivalent or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
Must have a valid Virginia Driver license or North Carolina Driver license (if North Carolina resident)
Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Outlook, Database management)
Previous storeroom experience
Knowledge of maintenance-related parts preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand, bend, at the waist and knees and climb for most of the shift
