Job Description

Overview

Microsoft is at the forefront of a new era in productivity, and Microsoft 365 Copilot is redefining how we build and deliver AI experiences. The MSAI Office of the CTO is partnering with Copilot Platform and teams across E+D to drive and transform Copilot Agility accelerating how we innovate, build, and scale the M365 Copilot product offerings.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) - MSAI Office of CTO who is passionate about improving the speed, reliability, and agility of Copilot development. In this role, you will lead programs and operations that empower teams across E+D (M365 Core, OPG, GXP, etc) to iterate faster and deliver Copilot capabilities with greater velocity and confidence. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, research, and infrastructure teams to identify friction points, streamline development workflows, and enable high-impact projects such as the Copilot Data Platform.

This opportunity is ideal for Senior TPM with a solid bias for action, who thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You’ll drive clarity amid complexity — ensuring alignment, removing blockers, and maintaining smooth execution across multiple teams and workstreams. You’ll combine technical depth with operational excellence to keep programs on track and results visible.

If you're excited about making the Copilot development process more agile, scalable, and impactful — and you thrive at the intersection of AI systems, program leadership, and cross-team collaboration — then this is the right role for you.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; able to leverage metrics and data to drive clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with process optimization, tooling improvements, or cross-org execution frameworks in large-scale engineering environments.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and bring structure and focus to complex technical spaces.
