Maintenance Technician
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Pay: $28–$30/hr (based on experience)
Shift: Friday–Monday, 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Spartanburg, SC. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced with both preventative and reactive maintenance.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems within the manufacturing facility.
Perform both scheduled and unplanned maintenance on production equipment and systems.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
Modify and test equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
Maintain compliance with all Environmental and OSHA Safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
Work with engineers, equipment manufacturers, and other professionals to ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance.
Execute detailed maintenance and preventative maintenance procedures using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) .
Implement operational standards and procedures to improve efficiency.
Read and interpret schematic drawings and electrical system diagrams .
Repair critical electromechanical components such as sensors, motors, and displays.
Calibrate and configure instruments and equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Proficient with CMMS software and preventive maintenance practices.
Must be safety-focused and able to work independently or as part of a team.
