Location: Family Advocacy Program Office, NAS Meridian, Meridian, MS
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and advocacy to victims of domestic abuse and intimate partner violence.
Assist clients with safety planning, protective orders, and navigating legal/medical systems.
Accompany victims to interviews, court proceedings, and medical exams as requested.
Maintain confidential case files in compliance with DoD and installation policy.
Coordinate with law enforcement, medical staff, and command to ensure victim safety.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
Minimum 2 years’ direct experience working with victims of domestic violence.
Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
Strong crisis response and interpersonal skills.
