Job Summary

Provide basic physical labor associated with the placement and finishing of concrete blocks and pavers.

Job Responsibilities
 

• Assist in plant start-up as instructed
• Perform quality control on finished products being tumbled removing any product not meeting quality standards
• Stack/sort product on elevated pallets
• Manual stacking of product weighing up to 70 lbs
• Clean up designated area at end of shift
• Assist in other areas of plant as needed and directed by supervisor

Job Requirements
 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or at least one year of related experience in trades specific to job requirements, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals
• Subject to temperature variations based on season
• Subject to exposure to noise and dust
• Use of PPE to include safety shoes, hard hats, ear and eye protection
