MEMCO is looking for a Tile Setter/Installer in the Metro Atlanta Area!

Job Overview

MEMCO looking for a dedicated Tile Setter/Installer who takes pride in their craft. If you have a strong eye for detail and a passion for turning a layout into a beautiful and finished space, we want to hear from you. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring every tile is perfectly aligned and every client is satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Preparation: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, removing debris, and ensuring a level base for installation.
• Measurement & Cutting: Accurately measure and cut tiles to fit specific design requirements and room dimensions.
• Installation: Apply adhesives using appropriate tools and techniques; set tiles in various patterns (straight, herringbone, offset, etc.).
• Precision Work: Ensure all tiles are properly aligned, leveled, and spaced to maintain consistent grout lines.
• Finishing: Make necessary adjustments for a seamless finish and perform thorough cleanup of the work area and waste materials.
• Coordination: Maintain effective communication with team members and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Ceramic Tile Installer or in a similar construction/flooring role.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with various tile types (ceramic, porcelain, etc.) and the tools of the trade (wet saws, spacers, trowels).
• Physical Stamina: Must be in good physical condition, able to lift heavy materials, and work comfortably on your knees or in tight spaces.
• Soft Skills: Strong time management, attention to precision, and a professional attitude when speaking with clients.
• Reliability: Dependable transportation and a consistent work ethic.
