Job Description

Salesforce Administrator and Database Manager

About the Role:

This position plays a central and highly visible role within the organization. As the Salesforce Administrator / Database Manager, you will be responsible for the integrity, organization, and flow of critical lead, pricing, and asset data across the CRM and SQL environments.

You will work closely with acquisitions, underwriting, engineering, IT, and leadership teams to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and actionable. Your work will directly support deal sourcing, valuation, portfolio management, and investor reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working across technical and business functions in a fast-paced investment setting.

Why you should join:

  • Direct Impact on Investment Outcomes
Your work will directly influence acquisition decisions, underwriting accuracy, and investor reporting-making this a mission-critical role rather than a back-office function.
  • Small Team, Big Responsibility
Join a tight-knit, growing team where your contributions are visible, valued, and meaningful. You'll have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and expand your skill set.
  • Exposure to Energy & Investment Strategy
Work at the intersection of data, technology, and energy investments, gaining insight into royalty acquisition strategies and private investment operations.
  • Ownership & Autonomy
Take full ownership of CRM and database workflows, processes, and optimizations, with the freedom to improve systems and implement best practices.
  • Collaborative, High-Standards Culture
Work alongside smart, driven professionals who value accuracy, accountability, and thoughtful decision-making.
  • Long-Term Growth Opportunity
As the firm continues to grow, this role offers the potential to expand in scope, influence, and responsibility.
  • Strong Benefits & Work-Life Balance
Enjoy a competitive compensation package, generous PTO, and comprehensive benefits while working in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all inbound data from aggregation and formatting through final upload into Salesforce
  • Ensure accuracy of asset attributes and associated pricing prior to activation
  • Maintain data integrity across custom Salesforce objects
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to validate assumptions and reconcile discrepancies
  • Run Salesforce Data Loader imports and replacements and oversee quality control processes
  • Document, refine, and maintain procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to optimize backend workflows
  • Produce recurring reports for leadership on data health, conversion, and performance metrics
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new Salesforce users
  • Design, manage, and optimize SQL infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports as a cross-functional contributor

Relevant Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3 5 years of Salesforce or CRM data operations experience, preferably in private equity, royalties, or energy
  • 3 5 years of SQL database and data science experience
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce platform, Salesforce Data Loader, Excel, and data reconciliation tools
  • Proficiency with Python scripting and automation
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high data accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively across departments
  • Willingness to take ownership and follow projects through to completion

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Company 401(k)
  • Health, dental, vision, disability, and group life insurance
  • Paid time off (4 weeks) plus nine company holidays
  • Dependent care FSA plan
  • Cell phone and gym reimbursement
  • Annual bonus opportunities
