The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly technical Freelance/Contract Video Editor to handle project-based and ongoing editing assignments on a freelance basis. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality, professional video content across our marketing and digital platforms. The ideal contractor possesses their own professional editing setup, operates with exceptional autonomy, and specializes in transforming raw footage into compelling, polished final deliverables under tight deadlines.

Who You Are

• Equipped with a Professional Editing Setup : You have your own reliable, professional-grade computer hardware and fully licensed software needed for video editing, motion graphics, and rendering
• An Expert in Premiere Pro : You possess advanced, hands-on expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro as your primary NLE
• Skilled in Motion Graphics : You bring strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, including integrating motion graphics and compositing into polished final deliverables
• Technically Fluent : You have a deep understanding of video codecs, compression workflows, aspect ratios, color spaces, and file delivery standards, especially for remote, collaborative environments
• Portfolio-Ready : You maintain a professional reel or portfolio that showcases diverse editing styles and high technical proficiency

This is a contract-based role with a targeted pay range of $35–$50 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on experience and other factors. Because this is a contract role, no benefits are provided. As this is a contract role, there are no benefits provided. Hours will vary based on project needs, and there are no guaranteed or set weekly hours. Work volume may fluctuate from week to week depending on the scope and timing of assignments.
