Currently I have two pit mixes: Apollo, 7yo and Luna, 3yo. Both are very sweet indoor dogs with happy-go-lucky temperaments in the home but get highly adrenalized/weary of other people and animals outside of the home. We are working on this, but sometimes it's just easier on them to be cared for where they can stay cozy at home, feel safe and loved when we have a special event out of town. I would like to add to my very short list of trusted friends for these events. As indicated, I would also like to meet individuals with a heart for occassional childcare/tutoring, housekeeping/organizing, personal assistant-type tasks - I have owned and operated a business while raising three children for the past 13 years (21, 16, 6) so sometimes I just need a body double or an assistant for the day to catch up on housekeeping tasks or give the busy little some extra attention, engage her in an activity or music lesson or school work, so I can focus on tasks at hand. I also have big garden dreams every year if you're interested in outdoor tasks in warmer months, there are always endless tasks there. I also envision this to be as needed, at least at first, but would be open to establishing a routine schedule if the value is undeniably mutually beneficial. I realize the aforementioned lists much more than JUST an occasional pet sitter, but even if any ONE of the roles resonates, whether it be for pets/kiddo/housekeeping/personal asst./seasonal garden help, I encourage you to start a conversation with me. I'll always be open to expanding my network of supports with honest, kind, trustworthy people I can count on for support - something I strive to be for others', which is likely why I'll always have one too many balls in the air.
