Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of various machines and equipment in the machine shop.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Support machinists and operators in the production process by preparing materials and tools.
• Monitor production processes and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of machine operations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Basic understanding of machine operations and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
