Job Description:

Office Service Company, a contract furniture dealership, is looking for a sharp, ambitious, and enthusiastic Entry Level Interior Designer/ Production Design CAD Tech to join our growing design and furniture team. In operation now for over 100 years, with growth plans in mind the client is actively hiring a full time Junior Level Interior Designer. This is an exciting opportunity for entry level designers looking for growth or for experiencer designers seeking a change/fresh start.

With no shortage of work orders, the Junior Level Interior Designer will work collaboratively with the team to contribute to their own individual growth/success along with the organizations vision for growth and expansion. Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Focusing on space planning
  • Design and furniture layouts
  • Preliminary line / sketch plans
  • Utilizing prevailing design products and best practices
  • Transform those floor plans into our client’s vision for their commercial spaces.
  • Maintaining, updating, and organizing the materials library for our working showroom.
  • Employ an array of tools to aid sales and furniture specialists in preparing client presentations as well as assisting in closing efforts.
  • Able to work diligently in a team-oriented environment in our active, working showroom while owning a positive attitude and passion for design.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Interior Design or CAD Tech degree
  • Proven technical ability preferred but not required (Giza, 2020, CET, AutoCAD, Revit,)
  • Sketch-Up, or other 3D rendering software).
  • Written and verbal communication skills with both clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Task oriented with excellent organizational skills
