Job Title: Freight Broker – Drayage Focus
Location: Remote or Office-Based (open to discussion)
Salary Range: $50,000–$65,000 base + high commissions (negotiable)
Reports To: VP, Sales
We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker with a proven track record in drayage, transloading, and intermodal logistics. The ideal candidate will bring an existing book of business focused on import/export freight, especially port-related drayage movements. This is a growth-oriented opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a commission-driven environment and wants to expand their impact within a supportive logistics team.
Build and manage customer relationships focused on drayage and port-based freight
Develop and expand a personal book of business
Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to maximize profitability
Collaborate with operations to ensure service excellence and on-time delivery
Identify growth opportunities in drayage, intermodal, and related service lanes
2–5+ years of freight brokerage experience, preferably with drayage or intermodal accounts
Existing customer relationships and an active book of business
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Proven success working in a commission-driven environment
