Curator II Job Group Professional & Scientific Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in maintaining artifacts and artworks Experience in conducting research and presenting results Experience in designing and preparing exhibits and leading tours Summary Job Description: The Textiles and Clothing Museum (TCM) is a unique and irreplaceable record of material culture and history. The collection comprises over 9,000 objects including flat textiles, clothing, accessories, and other fashion-related items collected from across time periods of regional as well as global significance. The TCM includes the Mary Alice Gallery, the Donna R. Danielson Conservation Laboratory, and the Edward and Bertha Waldee Storage Facility. All facilities are housed across Morrill Hall and Lebaron Hall. The TCM is a teaching collection which means that its principal focus is on supporting undergraduate and graduate students at Iowa State University in their education.
