Job Description: The Criminal Defense Attorney will manage a diverse caseload of criminal defense matters, including trial work. The ideal candidate will bring experience, strong advocacy skills, and a passion for defending clients' rights.

Key Responsibilities:

* Represent clients in various criminal cases.
* Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings and other legal documents.
* Develop defense strategies and manage all stages of litigation.
* Negotiate with prosecutors to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
* Handle trials, hearings, and other court appearances as needed.
* Communicate effectively with clients, providing case updates and addressing concerns.
* Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to build strong case strategies.

Qualifications:

* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Active license to practice law in Florida.
* 2-5 years of experience in criminal defense.
* Strong knowledge of Florida criminal law and court procedures.
* Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
* Trial experience and a confident courtroom presence (preferred).
* Ability to perform under pressure and make sound legal decisions.
* Commitment to ethical legal practice and client advocacy.

Compensation and Benefits:

* Salary: dependent on experience.
