** Please note that all of our roles will require you to be in-person at our NYC HQ (located in Union Square)**

About the role:
We’re hiring our first Content & Community Lead to spearhead organic growth. You’ll be responsible for driving organic growth across a number of channels — ranging from SEO, organic social, community, events, and more — with a focus on building brand awareness and driving acquisition, conversion, and retention. This is an opportunity to sit in a highly impactful role for the company, and build the content function and team from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Goal setting & reporting

  • Establish, track, and report on metrics and OKRs across all organic channels, with aggressive but achievable targets for the team. Remain creative and nimble about how goals will be achieved, opting for non-traditional solutions as needed

Win at SEO

  • Define and execute against a content strategy that will help us win in SEO and ASO, however the field may change in the future. Ensure we have the right team in place to make progress, both internally and with the help of external partners

Own social strategy

  • Build and evolve our social strategy across existing channels, with an eye towards growing with video. Focus on driving brand awareness and acquiring new users while keeping our current audience engaged

Build our community & events

  • Cultivate a community of passionate power users who advocate for us and help recruit new users. Craft a thoughtful plan for events, choosing key moments in the year to host or sponsor them, and encouraging power users to host their own

Scale our content production

  • Establish processes to help the team stay on track with quarterly goals, and make sure we’re scaling our content production at a rate that’s needed. Get creative in what work gets done internally vs. externally to meet our goals, in partnership with our Creative Strategy team

Partner with product

  • Build deep cross-functional relationships with Product, working together to optimize site structure, drive internal linking, think about backlinks, and run A/B tests to improve conversion

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on content

  • You have experience building, executing, and scaling a content strategy that drives awareness and delivers business results

  • You are a great storyteller and an exceptionally strong writer (and editor). Communication — both written and verbal — is your strong suit

  • You have experience building and leading high-performing teams; you’re a strong coach with the ability to get the best out of creative partners

  • You have an ownership mentality, with experience setting and delivering against targets

  • You are data driven, and feel comfortable analyzing, measuring, and improving content's impact and performance, and helping your team do the same

  • You have strong project management skills, from standing up programs to helping your team scale them

  • You’re a great collaborator, and build strong relationships with ease, whether with product or across the marketing team

  • You’re a creative problem solver, and remain open to a new way of doing things to accomplish a goal

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans

  • 401K with employer match

  • Commuter Benefits

  • Catered lunch multiple days per week

  • Dinner stipend every night if you're working late and want a bite!

  • Doordash DashPass subscription

  • Health & Wellness Perks (Talkspace, Kindbody, One Medical subscription, HealthAdvocate, Teladoc)

  • Multiple team offsites per year with team events every month

  • Generous PTO policy and flexible WFH days
