We’re looking for a seasoned  Engineer with strong expertise in  Quantitative Finance (QuantFi)to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of financial instruments—such as derivatives, swaps, lending/repo markets, and collateral management—combined with hands-on blockchain development experience.

 

This is a Full-time/Permanent Position with our Client (Visa sponsorship is not available for this role)

 

Position: Engineer – Solidity and Quantitative Finance Focus

Location: Dallas, TX, New Jersey, Tampa, FL & Boston, MA

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, and deploy smart contracts for QuantFi use cases.
• Model complex financial workflows and implement them on-chain.
• Integrate smart contracts with front- and back-end systems.
• Develop for multiple L1s and enable cross-chain interoperability.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure smart contract security.
• Maintain and upgrade existing smart contracts to meet evolving requirements.
• Stay current with blockchain security and cryptographic trends.
• Collaborate with PMs and stakeholders to align technical architecture with product goals.
• Communicate blockchain concepts across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Troubleshoot and resolve smart contract issues in live environments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s (or higher) in CS, Engineering, Finance, or related STEM field.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proven experience in both Solidity and quantitative finance.
• Strong background in financial systems (trading, risk, compliance).
• Deep knowledge of blockchain security and attack vectors.
• Proficiency with Hardhat, Foundry, Slither, and Mythril.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and test-driven development.
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols (derivatives, lending, collateral, risk) is a plus.
