Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the organization’s financial operations. **Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis to support decision-making processes.

- Coordinate and assist with audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

- Maintain and update accounting records and files, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data.

- Analyze financial information and summarize the financial status of the organization.

- Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

- Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an accounting specialist or in a similar role.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.

- High level of integrity and professionalism.
